Role
UX Research, UI Design, UX Design
Project Overview
This project focused on the redesign of the WYSA mental health artificial intelligence application, targeting international students. WYSA features an AI chatbot that guides users through cognitive behavioral therapy techniques. Recognizing the unique needs of international students, I conducted a comprehensive analysis of WYSA's existing AI system, user experience, and ethical considerations. Through this analysis, I identified areas for improvement in user experience and proposed enhancements to cater specifically to the needs of international students. The redesigned WYSA app aims to enhance efficiency, satisfaction, accessibility, and safety for this demographic.

  • Identifying advantages and areas for improvement in user experience
  • Developing a redesigned WYSA app tailored for international students
  • Implementing enhancements to improve efficiency and satisfaction
  • Addressing psychological needs and providing round-the-clock mental health support
  • Recognizing the reluctance of international students to seek help and providing a platform for self-help and support
